Our Work
We are reaching out to potential grantors to support the growth of our church for our community and congregation. We have begun sending letters of interest and requesting funds that will enhance our various programs: Van Ministry, Youth Outreach (an after-school program), Recovery Meetings, Bible Studies, Holiday Dinner's with the community, upcoming opening of our new children's classroom addition, which will host our after-school program, "Meals & Notebooks," & "AWANA" where children can enjoy dinner and study with friends. We see a need to have a health group called "Guild of Enhancing Health." This program aims to assist elders, adults, children, veterans with PTSD, and those in recovery from addiction. The main idea on this curriculum is a cognitive level and address health determinants, social factors, attitudes, values, norms, and skills that influence specific health-related behaviors. It will teach functional health information, shape personal values and beliefs that support healthy behaviors, and promote group norms that value a healthy lifestyle.
